(DailyDig.com) – Hip Hop music entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs, formerly “Puff Daddy,” is facing yet another rape and sexual assault lawsuit. The incidents allegedly took place about 20 years ago.
The accusers are able to file suit until March 25, 2025, under the recent Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law that allows people to seek civil damages for past sexual crimes committed against them.
The most recent allegations against Combs are graphic and show a level of advanced planning. A thus-far-unidentified woman alleges that in 2003 when she was 17-year-old high school student, the music producer set her up to be repeatedly raped. She says two known associates of Combs, one of whom was the president of his record label, Harve Pierre, and the other who is not publicly named, approached her at a lounge in the area of Detroit. She says a short time after that encounter she was flown aboard Combs’ private jet from her home state of Michigan to New York.
Once in New York, the woman alleges the men “plied” her with large amounts of alcohol and drugs. Once she was overly inebriated, she says, the three men, including Combs, took turns assaulting and raping her. She says she was drifting in and out of consciousness until she was reduced to laying on the floor in the defenseless fetal position.
She also claims that after the assaults ended Combs had her flown back to Michigan aboard his airplane. The woman’s lawyer said this incident has changed her and left her damaged for life. The suit names Combs’ Daddy’s House Recordings studio and his recording label Bad Boy Entertainment as co-defendants. She is seeking declaratory, monetary, and injunctive satisfaction through this lawsuit.
Combs reacted to this fourth suit as well as the others with a post on his social media accounts. He wrote “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” as a title followed by an all-white text over black background statement. In the statement Combs denies all the allegations, and calls them nothing more than character assassination attempts from people looking for a “quick payday.” He said he will fight these suits for his name and family.
