(DailyDig.com) – On July 2, the singer Pink canceled one of her scheduled concerts supporting her “Trustfall” album during her 2024 Pink Summer Carnival world tour.
On July 2, she announced on her social media page the cancellation of the July 3 concert at the Stadion Wankdorf in Bern, Switzerland. She wrote that she was sorry and disappointed, as she was anticipating the performance for her fans at the concert. She assured all ticket holders of refunds, citing her doctor’s advice as the sole reason for canceling the concert.
The “Raise Your Glass” singer stated that she does what is necessary to enable her ability to perform for her fans at every concert, but her doctor and she explored what possibilities were available to her and determined that canceling the concert was her best option. She expressed her love to her fans and hopes to see them soon.
The next performance on the tour was scheduled for July 6 in Copenhagen, Denmark, but no update was made at the time if it was still expected to happen. Pink didn’t reveal any information regarding her medical condition.
If the tour continues as scheduled, she will perform eight more concerts in Europe through the rest of July. She will then return to North America sometime in the middle of August. For her tour beginning in 2023, she held more than 40 concerts, and in 2024, she held an additional 30. She has scheduled 30 more concerts after arriving in North America, bringing her total to over one hundred concerts.
The current cancellation happened only a few days after she revealed that Willow, her daughter, was exiting the tour for a theatrical profession. Last October, she postponed two of her concerts because she stated that her family’s medical concerns needed attention, without naming details. Pink canceled concerts in the later weeks of October due to her poor health, later attributed to a respiratory infection.
Pink showed her dedication to her fans by performing during another concert earlier this summer despite suffering from food poisoning.
