Kanye West Takes Trip to Moscow – Here’s What We Know

(DailyDig.com) – There is speculation regarding a visit that rapper Kanye West is supposedly making to Moscow, Will there be a concert? Or, is it about his interest in expanding business, or his claim that he wants to meet Vladimir Putin?

The visit to Moscow is one of several international trips West has made in the past month. He was visiting Japan in early June, where he showed up at a pro wrestling match.

Following his visit to Japan, West traveled to Paris, France, where he was seen on June 19 at Gigi Paris with Bianca Censori, his wife.

Currently in Russia, the media has claimed to witness West in the subway in Moscow. According to reports, West traveled to Moscow to celebrate the birthday of Gosha Rubchinskiy, a Russian designer whom he appointed as the creative director of his Yeezy brand in 2023.

Yana Rudkovskaya, a Russian producer, also confirmed West’s visit, saying that it’s excellent news. The announcement has sparked rumors that West will be performing at the Luzhniki Stadium, which stadium officials have denied.

Reports of West staying at Moscow’s Four Seasons Hotel surfaced when a fan posted on their social media page a video showing fans awaiting the rapper. There is a rumor that West is staying in the presidential suit, which costs $12,848 a day.

Another rumor that has been circulating for some time is that West is interested in meeting Putin. Ameer Sudan, West’s associate and friend, stated that the rapper has been asking for a meeting with Putin beginning in 2018. Sudan stated that West is hopeful that Putin will attend his performance someday.

In the past, West had made a comparison with Putin, referring to himself as a “Young Putin.” This has also sparked discussions about the visit being primarily a diplomatic meeting, which was the original purpose of the trip to Moscow.

The situation’s sensitivity is clear, as most of the celebrities in the West have avoided Russia due to the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
