(DailyDig.com) – Two days following being nabbed while wandering outside the mega star’s New York mansion, a Seattle man was apprehended outside of Taylor Swift’s home in Tribeca on January 22, according to sources in the police and legal systems.
At around 6:15 p.m. on January 22, police apprehended 33-year-old David Crowe outside a New York City structure. Police then transported him to the police station located in Lower Manhattan, where he was brought up with two charges each of stalking and harassment.
At around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, a security detail member of Swift’s saw Crowe standing outside the house on Franklin Street. He didn’t try to go inside, but he seemed to be aimlessly strolling outside. His emotional stability is questionable, according to those in the know.
After being detained on January 20, the man returned and harassed many individuals on the street, prompting neighbors and Swift’s security members to bring the police back to their location. The source from the police department said that he was seen by passersby gazing at Swift’s building. According to the source, the police apprehended the man after informing him that he had previously been instructed to stay away from the area due to the concern he was causing among the locals.
It seems like Swift wasn’t around when it happened. According to travel records, she departed for Nashville, Tennessee, on January 22 after flying from Buffalo to New York City on January 21, where she saw her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, play football.
On January 20, police responded to a call about someone trying to unlock the door of Swift’s Franklin Street house, and they also detained Crowe. He allegedly ignored a 2015 summons issued against him.
An anonymous source had earlier claimed on January 20 that they had seen the man for many weeks as he walked throughout the area, particularly near Swift’s house.
He has been a frequent visitor to Swift’s apartment throughout the years, joining the ranks of other recidivists.
