(DailyDig.com) – Tucker Carlson, the sarcastic Fox News host that many Republicans have come to love, is gaining popularity. Carlson’s narrative has boosted his base. So much in fact that he’s beginning to become popular among those that used to hate him the most — Democrats.
Carlson’s network, Fox News, recently became the first ever to top the charts for two consecutive decades, both in terms of average viewers and within the key 25 to 54 demographic. Much of their success comes from Carlson’s primetime show, which topped the charts among Democrats in October.

According to Mediaite, Carlson pulled in 101,000 self-identifying Democrats in October, towering over MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.” Oddly enough, Fox News rounds out the list of most watched shows among Democrats with “The Five” tied for second with 88,000 viewers, and Sean Hannity and Greg Gutfield coming in at 81,000 and 73,000 viewers, respectively.
Mediaite also reported that Fox News took all five of the top spots among self-identified Independents, with Carlson once again leading the pack. Carlson unsurprisingly also tops the Republican chart, meaning the Fox News host topped all three main political party charts, at least for that month.
When it comes to a yearly average, Carlson doesn’t fare quite as well, though he still makes the top three among Democrats, just behind Fox’s “The Five,” which follows behind MSNBC’s ”The Rachel Maddow Show.”
